Sawyer made a quick call to her mom and then pocketed her phone, making her way back over to him and smiling. “Okay. All set. I don’t think she’s one hundred percent thrilled, but she feels better that I’m going with you if I’m going at all.”
“Oh, like she can talk,” he chuckled lightly, turning to go into the restaurant and moving his arm around her.
