She turned to look at him, surprised, but pleasantly so. She smiled widely and slowly nodded. “Yeah, sure. That sounds great,” she told him. “Let me put on jeans real quick?” she asked. She wouldn’t have bothered, but the sweatpants she was wearing had a hole in the crotch.
“Yeah, of course,” he shrugged a shoulder. She could do whatever she had to do to get ready to go. He went back into the living room to grab his phone and then headed to the front hall to grab keys.
