“That’s what I figure. Get my Gen Eds out of the way,” she said, thanking the waiter when he came back with their drinks. She ordered a brownie and put the menu back where it was kept.
“Sounds like a pretty good plan,” he agreed, pulling his mug towards him and just resting his hands around it for a moment. “Brownie sounds good,” he commented, once the waiter had gone.
“It’s really good,” she told him with a smile.
“How’s your brownie?” he asked.
