She walked over to the booth once she’d gotten his approval and slid into one side of the booth, putting down her bag next to her by the wall. She laughed and nodded slowly. “Yeah, no, it’s cool. I just felt like if I was going to talk about it much more, I probably shouldn’t be so cryptic.”
“Hey, it’s not like it’s my business,” he said simply, shrugging as he slid into the booth across from her. “How’s that… liking him thing working out?”
