“You know, I’m not worried,” he said, smiling over at her and nudging her back.
She grinned. “Good. Because you’re one of my favorite people,” she informed him.
He looked over at her, surprised, his eyebrows raising. “Really?” he asked, clearly taken aback by that. It wasn’t in a bad way, either.
“It’s really good,” she told him with a smile.
“How’s your brownie?” he asked.
