She laughed. “Damn right I did,” she nodded and shrugged, tucking a stray bit of hair back behind her ear. “It was alright. It was nice to see everyone. At least I had a more interesting time than you,” she added, nudging him lightly. “I think,” she added with a grin.
“I don’t know,” he laughed. “Probably. I didn’t do much. Most interesting thing…” he paused a moment and then shrugged. “Didn’t happen to me,” he told her. “My life was interesting… tangentially.”
“It’s really good,” she told him with a smile.
