“You can pull in if you want,” he said, his hand loosing as hers moved. “Should be space unless someone’s home I don’t know about.”
“Okay,” she nodded, pulling into the driveway and shutting off the car. She wasn’t sure if he wanted to take a few minutes before they went in or not.
He raised his eyes to take in the exterior of the house and let out a sigh. He felt heavier already just being here. “Thanks,” he said, in clipping his seatbelt. “For coming.”
