She smiled widely. “I agree,” she told him after a beat. “It is good. It’s stable and safe.”
He nodded in agreement and then paused a moment. “Hey Alain?” he said, just to make sure she was listening. “About what I told you… the other day. I was just in a bad mood, it wasn’t, um… I didn’t really mean it.”
