Part 11 - Looking Back
What were they like as a child?
- Ryan was a very quiet child. He mostly kept to himself, said very little (once he’d figured out the whole talking thing), and pretty much did whatever he was told. Home was a very stressful place, with his father and brother at odds more often than not. In early childhood, Ryan was either too shy to talk to people, or too suspicious; he didn’t really trust anyone. He didn’t have very many friends, and preferred to stick around his big brother as much as he could. When he was four or five he started to come out of his shell, but he didn’t even resemble the rather extroverted and friendly person he is today until he was nine or ten.
What was their favourite toy?
- He had one of those toddler pianos that he really liked, until it was taken away from him for making too much noise. After that he took quite a shine to the etch-a-sketch.
Favourite game?
Playmates?
- He started hanging out with Logan Evans, since the older boy lived right next door.
- Took an early liking to Sawyer Scott.
What did they want to be when they grew up?
- Exactly one time he said he wanted to be mayor, like his dad.
- When asked this question when he was a child, he would say he didn’t know. When asked what he liked to do, he’d say he liked basketball, but when prompted further whether he wanted to that when he grew up, he would always say no.
- Mostly, Ryan wanted to be like his brother.
