Once everything was paid for Logan made his way back out to the car. He took his phone from the cup holder, secured his coffee cup in the holder and pushed himself up to slide his phone in his front pocket before buckling up. He threw the Starburst in the back, figuring they’d get soft by the time he wanted them. Then he opened the trail mix bag and set it between his seat and the emergency break. Getting settled back in he started the car up.
Ryan followed Logan back out to the car and got in the passenger side, pulling out his phone to turn it off before pocketing it again. He’d turn it on again later, but for now he really didn’t need to be killing the battery. Particularly not since, chances were, he’d forget to charge it later, and for once the battery was almost full.
