Logan didn’t put his seat back again, the mini-nap that he kind of had made him feel even more tired then he was before. But it’s not something he was going to tell Ryan, they’d just stop for coffee or caffeine. He kind of figured Ryan might know anyway, Logan got pretty fidgety when he was tired. To keep himself a little more awake his steering wheel became a drum, his hands the sticks and he jammed out a little more to the music.
Seeing Ryan coming out of the house he unlocked the doors, letting Ryan put his bag wherever he needed and started the car up right away. The good thing about the Focus is that it was quiet, unlike the Stingray. At least he wasn’t going to wake up the whole neighborhood.
Ryan ditched his bag in the backseat and then went around to the other side, getting into the passenger seat and shutting the door. “So why the crack of dawn?” he asked, more out of curiosity than anything else, reaching up behind him for his seatbelt.
He wasn’t sure how long he’d be awake for; he was pretty good at keeping awake as a general rule, but on car trips when he wasn’t driving, if he was any amount of tired, he’d probably pass out. He knew he’d try not to, but it was basically inevitable.
Logan had kind of thought they were done talking about it. He knew he couldn’t ask Ryan to sit in his place for a little...
“It’s a lot to think about,” he said after a moment. “Personally… I wouldn’t do it.”
