He sighed, letting it alone for the time being as he locked the car and started towards the restaurant. “I didn’t think you were,” he said after a beat.
He moved around the car and followed his brother towards the restaurant entrance. When his brother spoke again he didn’t reply right away, just slid his hands into his pockets and held back a sigh. “So how long do you have off?” he asked, deciding to just change the topic.
