“Good,” he said, letting it alone. At least, he supposed, Ryan wasn’t there full-time anymore. He just hoped that their father stayed alright, at least until Ryan went back to school.
“Okay, sounds good to me,” he agreed. “I’ll go… hunt down the car and park out by the visitor’s entrance then. Does that work for you?”
“Yeah, sounds good,” he nodded, taking a step back towards the pharmacy counter. “I’ll be out in five tops. Unless I get lost or something,” he joked lightheartedly. He could usually find the exit alright, it was everything else in the hospital that always gave him trouble. That was probably since the last time he’d spent any real time in this building, he’d been concussed.
